With just two weeks to go until the big day I’m already in a flap about what to buy for those last few gifts. The main presents are taken care (if yours aren’t – don’t stress just head here!) of but those secret Santas and little bits and pieces are still on my to-do list and Im putting them off. Although I dread traipsing to the shops with the masses in search for the perfect gift, seeing the look on everyone’s faces when they open them Christmas morning is worth every stressful queue and late night tantrum! For me, those last minute extras, the stocking fillers and little surprises are some of the most fun to buy and often the ones i go OTT with. A 3-pack of dry shampoo? Who doesn’t need that?! Christmas socks? Two please! Basically if it’s under £50, pretty and small, Ill take it.
We always start with our stocking fillers on Christmas Day, usually over tea with the fire going and a festive playlist tinkering in the background. It’s just an hour of peace and happiness before the mayhem of the day. There’s something about dragging my stocking over to me that always makes me feel nostalgic about when I was a child. We didn’t have stockings we had pillow cases growing up which I always thought it was so Santa could fit more in but in reality I think it was because my parents thought stockings were an American novelty!
So, whether it’s a sack, a sock or even a pair of tights, here are a few last minute ideas to finish off your Christmas shopping

Oohs & Aahs Gift Set, Bare Minerals
You can’t go wrong with a beautiful make-up set and this miniature package from Bare Minerals is perfect, especially for the party season. I’m forever trying to whittle down my essentials to squeeze into my clutch bag on a night out usually ending in a timely meltdown and a shiny forehead come 9pm. I know, first world problems here. Which is why a palette featuring eyeshadow, blush and all-over powder is everything you need so your make-up lasts as long as you do. Whilst I don’t usually top up my mascara on the go, this mini is ideal to throw in my overnight bag for a festive weekend away.
10 Year Plan, Glass Water Bottle and Be Here Now Mug, £7.50, all Kikki-K
I always think that homeware and stationary is a pretty safe bet when it comes to stocking fillers and Kikki-K is a great place to start. Affordable and totally Instagrammable, its wellness guides and notebooks are minimal, stylish and the right size to throw into your tote.
I’m trying to make a more conscious effort to drink more water so this extra large glass bottle is great for anyone else looking to do the same without lugging around that crumpled up Evian!
With 2018 just around the corner I’m so excited to start planning and setting new goals. I can barely think about tomorrow let alone 10 years down the line but with the plan’s bitesize sections, it’s easier to think about what it is you really want with helpful hints along the way.

Lunabox Wireless Speaker, Amazon
I always get so annoyed when we watch films on holiday or want to play music while we cook dinner and my iPhone speakers don’t quite cut it. I rarely get excited about techy things but this is a perfect stocking filler for both men and women thanks to its sleek design and rose gold tint. And for £15 you can’t get much better than that!
S’well Rose Gold Water Bottle, Amara
Ok, I think a theme is emerging here! Yep, I’m a fan of rose gold! But S’well bottles are brilliant stocking fillers for gym bunny’s. Made from stainless steele, they keep water nice and cold for hours without the nasty BPA’s you get from plastic. Plus, how stylish would this look in your gym bag come January?
Infinite Shine Gift Set, OPI
Sultry reds, moody metallics and bold blacks are the order of the day for the festive season and these OPI mini’s are perfect for on-the-go touch-ups and trying out something new. I’m strictly a deep purple or nude kinda girl so finding this trio in my stocking would make me very happy!
I hope this little guide to stocking fillers has got you in the shopping mood or inspired you to snap up the perfect gift for your loved one this Christmas.
What are you hoping to get in your stocking this year?…
