ABOUT TWENTYSIXSTYLE.COM
Focusing on fashion, beauty and travel, TwentySixStyle.com is a simple style philosophy. Carefully put together to inspire and motivate, it’s a place to explore both the new and the classic. Whether it’s a handbag that I’m loving or a new serum that I can’t live without, I want to tell you about it. You may buy it, you may not, either way, I’d love to hear what you think or any recommendations you might have. I strongly believe in sustainability when it comes to shopping so I try to only feature pieces that are timeless, easy and chic.
The internet can be a harmful places so I’ve made it a policy not to bash brands or other bloggers. I want this to be a positive space so if I don’t like something I won’t feature it and I won’t talk about it.
ABOUT SPONSORED CONTENT
Occasionally I will collaborate with a brand on sponsored content. I will ALWAYS put a disclaimer telling you when this is the case and I only work with brands that I love and that you’ll want to read about. I do use affiliate links (girls gotta eat!) but only on products that I genuinely love and won’t ever pressure anyone into buying.
This year I’ve been fortunate enough to partner up with brands such as Monica Vinader, Burberry, Ted Baker, Dune and Coast.
FAQ
Where and what did you study?
I studied Fashion Promotion and Imagery at Epsom University of Creative Arts
What’s your background?
Originally, I worked in fashion PR for brands such as Anya Hindmarch, Trace PR, Atelier-Mayer.com, London Fashion Week, my-wardrobe.com and many more! But, slowly my love of writing overtook my duty to network and I crossed over to editorial. For three years I was the deputy editor of Your Fitness magazine and over the last few years I’ve written for Look, Tatler, Brides, Glamour, Marie Claire, YOU magazine and The Daily Mail.
Why did you start blogging?
I came to blogging so late in the game but I wanted a space where I could be creative and write about what I wanted rather than for someone else. Whether one person or a million people read my content it doesn’t really matter to me because I just really enjoy the process. But if you know a million people, give them my HTTP!
Do you blog full-time?
Yes and no. Since going freelance in 2017 I juggle feature writing for magazines and websites with blogging and attending events.
What makes your blog different?
Me.
Do you live in London?
No, not anymore. I live in a lovely Grade II listed house in Suffolk with my husband and our cat Farley!
How would you describe your style?
Simple. Classic. Timeless. I’m trying to move away from trend-led pieces and buy more high quality designs that can be worn every year.
