It’s a brand synonymous with cutting-edge beauty and now the man at the helm, Francois Nars, has done the unexpected once again.Following in the fashionable footsteps of Charlotte Rampling and Lulu Guinness, Hollywood actress Tilda Swinton has become the face of Nars’ spring campaign.
With her porcelain complexion and white cropped hair, Swinton was an obvious choice for Francois, “I love [Tilda’s] bold style and really admire her work,” Nars told WWD. “As an actress, she brings such strong personality to the camera,” he continued.
As a renowned perfectionist, Nars shoots his own campaigns and as his four portraits of Tilda shows, it’s a method that is proving effective. Each image reveals one of the four makeup collections available; including a limited edition colour collection Eye-Opening Act.
The collections will be available from January and the ads will run until April 2015
