He’s the king of tailoring with a host of celebrities clients but now we can all have a piece of French designer, Roland Mouret as his new capsule collection for Banana Republic goes on sale today. The 30-piece collection includes simple and chic designs made famous by his once-protégé, Victoria Beckham including structured pencil dresses, flattering cigarette pants and day-to-night essentials.
Made famous by his Galaxy dressin 2006 (worn by Mrs Beckham, Cameron Diaz and Scarlett Johansen), Mouret’s signature style can be seen in the collection for the high street giant. Enlisting the help of supermodel Karolina Kurkova to showcase the designs, the designer explains,“Partnering with Banana Republic on this project was such an adventure for me,” Mouret said in a press release. “These pieces are multi-functional for the modern woman to wear and accessorize in her own way, making her always ready for life’s journey.”
Rouland Mouret for Banana Republic is available in store and online 7th August
