She’s become the poster girl for that put-together, Park Avenue Princess-look and Olivia Palmero shows just how it’s done on the cover of Net-A-Porter’s magazine, The Edit. Inside, Palermo dons a variety of pristine ensembles with a definitive Sixties twist including a leather shift dress by Gucci, pink print dress by Christopher Kane and of course, shoes from her collaborative collection with Aquazzura (post here). With her trademark feline eyes and slicked back, oversized bun atop her head, the reality star and fashion icon could be a modern day Audrey Hepburn.

Speaking about her beauty regime, Palermo explains to The Edit that “my mother and grandmother are very pulled together. They never leave the house without being completely, 100% presentable and that was instilled in me at a very young age.” Since her entry into the fashion industry as a designer, Palermo reveals her future plans, “I would love to start my own [fashion] house but it’s not the right time. I feel like I can do it in stages and when the timing is right to do it, then I will.”

Above all, she shares her top styling tips (here’s a cut-out-and-keep for you!)

  • As you get dressed, take a look to see if anything needs to be done
  • Her favourite belts are from Whistles and Reiss
  • Take a razor blade to a sweater if it’s bobbling – it takes the balls off
  • Double-sided tape is a handbag staple-if you’re out and your hem rips then you can do a little fix to it
  • If you want to roll your sleeves up and they won’t stay, push them up with very thin hair elastics
  • Keep thread with you in case your necklace breaks

She looks great in each shot – especially the one on the cover! I’ve always been impressed by her personal style, easily she’s one of my style icons! 🙂 http://hideorgochic.wordpress.com
