M&S LAUNCH HIGH FASHION A/W COLLECTION

Since it unveiled that suede, button-up skirt in the autumn, we’ve been keeping a close eye on Marks & Spencers. Worn by Alexa Chung and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (who also has a lingerie range with them), the once diminishing store is fast becoming a high street hero once again. With immense pressure on them for next season, they’ve done it again by producing a collection worthy of Prada or Michael Kors.

Split into five stories encompassing Per Una, Autograph, M&S Collection, Indigo and Limited Edition, the heritage tweeds, buttery-soft cashmere and clever layering provide a wardrobe worthy of the working woman. So here’s what you can expect come autumn

Entwined- The working wardrobe of knitted separates and sharp tailoring

Modern Muse-A sixties twist on contemporary styles with animal print and patchwork jeans

Elegant Bohemia– A nod to the seventies with peasant blouses and faux-suede skinnies

Noir-Inspired by Studio 54 it features Lurex, sequins and a lot of fun

Softly Structured-Tailored pieces with romantic details and feminine blouses
