A year after giving birth to her son. Alfred, with David Walliams, Lara Stone is back with aplomb gracing the cover of Net-A-Porter’s The Edit in a figure-hugging dress by Joseph.
Talking about her new body acceptance since becoming a mother, Stone is refreshingly candid “I was just eating whatever I wanted; I wasn’t being careful about that at all. I was huge. Maybe in hindsight… No, I don’t give a s***. It was great!” In an industry where the obsession with body image is worse than ever, the Dutch supermodel claims that her pregnancy put it all in perspective, “Who gives a s*** if you had an epidural or a C-section or you just breathed through it? The reward is that you have a beautiful, healthy baby.” Enlisting the help of celebrity trainer and Bodyism founder, James Duigan, Stone has steadily regained her pre-pregnancy figure, she says “I felt like I was in a really safe place.” And she looks better than ever.
