They’ve been compared to one another since Cara Delevingne burst onto the scene but now Burberry have brought the legendary Kate Moss together with modelling’s rising star to feature in their new fragrance campaign. Shot by renowned fashion photographer, Mario Testino, the duo stare seductively into the camera while their blonde tresses fall casually around their chiselled features.
Clad in classic Burberry trench coats, the two models take a playful approach to their poses as they lounge and laugh together for the cameras. And it looks like they get on famously behind the camera too as behind-the-scenes photographs show Moss and Delevingne at ease in each others company on set. Titled My Burberry, the new fragrance pays homage to how people affectionately refer to their Burberry trench coats. In a new twist, it will be the first time that customers will be able to personalise their perfume bottle with their initials online or in-store.
Not only this but if you use your smart phone technology you’ll be able to interact with the posters and project their initials onto a giant Burberry bottle. Live mapping directions will then guide them to the nearest Burberry store where they can purchase their monogrammed My Burberry bottle.
Another fashion-forward move from the luxury fashion house and who better to front the campaign than the next generation of supers?
