HOW TO DO YOUR OWN BRIDESMAID MAKE-UP

Being a bridesmaid comes with a lot of stress and endless duties, but that’s not to say you can’t look glam while you hoist the bride’s dress over her head so she can go to the bathroom. Although I decided to have my hair done professionally on the day (I can’t be tackling with tresses that won’t play ball on the day), I decided to do my make-up myself. I haven’t had a very good experience with having my face done my an expert and usually come out looking like a clown, so I thought it best to play it myself. But it dawned on my the night before – I’m doing my own make-up. By myself. I suddenly forgot how to do the things I’ve been doing every day since I was 13 years old (Ok, 12). What if my feline flick goes awry? What if my hand shakes when applying my mascara?

The only thing I could think of to calm my nerves was to buy a whole new make-up kit (that’s a thing, right?) to ensure my make-up wasn’t going to go anywhere all day.
