Remember the excitement we all felt when Kate Moss collaborated with Topshop on a capsule collection? Well, get your elbows at the ready ladies because our favourite super is letting us buy a little piece of her personal style again.
Teaming up with French label, Equipment, the English glamazon has designed a range of over-sized shirts, jumpers and 90’s slip dresses she’s become known for in a range of prints including anchors, stars and lightening bolts (as a nod to Moss’ friend, David Bowie).
Speaking to US Vogue, Moss says “The Equipment people brought the shirts, and I reshaped them a bit and talked about the prints and how the pockets should be. I like having a part in designing something. Clothes are my thing. I like to talk about them, touch the fabric, see what feels right. I wanted the lightning bolt print—very Bowie—and the stars and the anchors.”
To celebrate the partnership, Kate and fellow model Susie Cave debuted the collection in a promotional video. Shot at Kate’s Cotswold bolthole by fellow model Daria Werbowy, the footage shows the two dancing and posing seductively whilst giving us a glimpse into Moss’s renowned party house (it’s no ordinary 2-up, 2-down that’s for sure!)
Equipment x Kate Moss goes on sale at Net-A-Porter.com on Thursday.
