Out of all of the Clean and Lean recipe’s this is the one I was most looking forward to making. Sea Bass is my favourite fish (apart from Monkfish) as it has such a significant taste and can be adapted to so many different flavours.
This dish was so simple to make and although I was a little apprehensive about steaming as I’ve found in the past that it leaves the fish soggy, it was the complete opposite and gave it more flavour than ever. All of the ingredients were already in my cupboards and fridge so it was just a case of chopping, peeling and cooking.
Like each of the Clean and Lean dishes, I find that a couple of healthy side dishes make it a little more substantial and stop me from reach for the unhealthy “desserts”. This time I opted for some quinoa with olives, tomatoes and leeks as well as roasted sweet potato cubes, kale and samphire.
And the end result was…a little salty (my fault, I put too much soy sauce in!) but absolutely delicious.
