Her grandmother was one of the greatest fashion icons and Hollywood stars of our time, so you can understand how comparisons to her famous relative could be a little overwhelming. But with Old Hollywood blood coursing through her veins, Emma Ferrer’s resemblance to Audrey Hepburn is unmistakeable.
years old, Ferrars dark features and doe eyes are highlighted in a variety of outfits similar to those worn by Hepburn in some of her cinematic classics. Studying at the Florence Academy of Art, Ferrar tells the fashion glossy “I knew her image, of course, and that I happened to be, by pure chance, related to her.
But as a child I couldn’t really relate to Audrey Hepburn, the actress. To me, she was family.” Tying into history, the spread was shot by Michael Avedon, grandson of legendary photographer Richard Avedon, for whom Hepburn was a longtime muse. Admitting she hasn’t watched all of her films, Ferrar has seen the classics. “When I watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s, I enjoyed it the same way any young girl would,” she says. “I’ve seen My Fair Lady and Roman Holiday, but I suppose my favorite is Funny Face.”
